The Confederation of African Football ( CAF ) has cancelled the 2021 U17 African Cup of Nations which was scheduled for 13th March 2021 in Morocco.

The development came on Monday after a CAF emergency committee meeting in Casablanca to discuss the future of the tournament as the North African countries Morocco inclusive tighten measures against the Corona Virus pandemic.

The announcement came at a time when four nations including Uganda, Ivory Coast, Senegal and Zambia had already arrived in Morocco far preparation for the final tournament.
