The Kifuuta Oracle has a message for men under 38: physical appearance may attract a woman, money may impress her, and sweet words may win her attention, but emotional security and personal growth are what sustain a lasting relationship.

Drawing from his own experiences, the self-styled oracle argues that genuine love flourishes where a woman feels safe, respected and free to pursue her ambitions without fear or control.

“A woman does not fall in love overnight,” he writes. “Her heart opens slowly, piece by piece, with patience.”

According to him, a man’s greatest strength lies not in controlling his partner but in creating an environment where she can express herself freely, trust him with her vulnerabilities and pursue her dreams.

“Peace, not pressure. Comfort, not chaos. Stability, not confusion. Respect, not ego,” he advises.

He also cautions young men against possessiveness, arguing that monitoring a partner’s phone, dictating her friendships and restricting her movements amount to imprisonment rather than love.

However, the most poignant illustration of his philosophy comes from a personal account involving Alice Waibale of Nizam Road, Jinja.

The oracle recounts how he fell in love with Alice, who was then dating Ali, a son of former Ugandan president Idi Amin.

While Ali reportedly commanded power and possessed an impressive car, the narrator says he offered Alice something different: care, freedom and emotional security.

Driving an ageing Peugeot 404 inherited from his grandfather, he claims to have won her affection through these qualities rather than material possessions.

Their story, however, ended tragically. After Amin’s fall, the narrator says he was preparing to leave for Nairobi to pursue his studies and could not marry Alice. She subsequently married his friend, Sam Kirunguda.

According to his account, Alice and Sam later died in Kimaka, Budondo, while attempting to escape Ali Amin.

The tragedy, he says, left him with a lasting lesson about love, fear and the fragility of life.

His message to young men is simple: “Am I peace or am I pressure? Am I building her or am I breaking her? Am I a home or am I a storm?”

For the Kifuuta Oracle, a man’s true worth is measured not by what he owns, but by the peace he brings into the life of the woman he loves.

WHEN SOLITUDE BECOMES A PRISON

WHEN SOLITUDE BECOMES A PRISON

By Joseph Mbazzi Muguluma Loneliness does not announce its arrival. It comes disguised as discipline, spirituality, independence and peace. You wake up, pray, work, exercise and repeat the routine, believing you have mastered life. Meanwhile, years disappear, friends marry, children grow, and you remain a prisoner of your own company. Then one morning, BAM! You […]

Muguluma’s Marriage Lament: When the home becomes a prison

By Joseph Mbazzi Muguluma Marriage, which Joseph Mbazzi Muguluma once envisioned as a sanctuary of peace, has become, in his telling, a painful struggle for emotional survival.
