The stage is set for a high-stakes climax at the CECAFA Kagame Cup 2026, with the semi-final cast now confirmed following the conclusion of the group phase in Kigali, Rwanda.
Four clubs including Rayon Sport FC, Al Hilal SC, Gor Mahia FC, and Jamus SC have sealed their passage to the last four, with the decisive ties slated for August 4th at Amahoro Stadium.
Rwandan giants Rayon Sport FC head into the knockout phase as the standout side of the tournament so far, registering a flawless group campaign.
The Blues capped their dominance with a narrow but decisive 1-0 victory over Sudan’s Al Hilal SC in their final group fixture, courtesy of an early strike from Atisso Kodjo in the 17th minute.
That result ensured maximum points and underlined their credentials as title contenders.

Rayon’s reward is a semi-final showdown against South Sudan’s Jamus SC, the competition’s surprise package, in what shapes up as a compelling second semi-final encounter.
In the other semi-final, Kenyan heavyweights Gor Mahia FC will square off against Al Hilal SC, who progressed as the best-ranked runners-up.
The fixture promises intensity and pedigree, with both sides boasting continental experience and ambitions of lifting the regional crown.
Elsewhere, Kenya’s Tusker FC signed off their campaign on a positive note, securing a 2-0 victory over KVZ FC in a Group C clash at Kigali Pele Stadium.
