The 2025 National Champions, Buddo Secondary School, made an explosive start to the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Elite Games, hosted at Janan Secondary School in Bombo.

In a dazzling display of skill, Buddo SS crushed hosts Janan SS with a staggering 103-03 victory, sending a clear message to their rivals.

In the second match of the day, St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende emerged victorious, securing a commanding 59-25 win over Namagabi Secondary School.

Both Buddo SS and St. Mary’s Kitende have set a high bar for the tournament, with their powerful performances in the opening round.

The competition continues tomorrow, February 28, 2026, with St. Mary’s Kitende facing off against the hosts, Janan SS, while Buddo SS will take on Namagabi SS.

However, the most anticipated clash of the tournament is slated for Sunday, when reigning Elite and National champions, Buddo SS, go head-to-head with FEASSA champions St. Mary’s Kitende in what promises to be an epic showdown.

With the stakes high, the tension builds as these two powerhouses aim for supremacy at the USSSA Elite Games.
