Vipers SC cemented their position at the top of the Uganda Premier League table with a commanding 4-1 victory over Police FC at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, on Tuesday evening.
The hosts dominated the game, with Milton Karisa scoring the opener in the 32nd minute, followed by Karim Watambala’s thunderous strike four minutes later.
Odili Chukwuma made it 3-0 just before halftime with a composed header.
Police FC pulled one back through Saidi Kyeyune early in the second half, but Vipers SC responded with Usama Arafat’s powerful header in the 73rd minute, sealing their win.
The victory takes Vipers SC to 33 points in 13 games, while Police FC remains third with 27 points in 14 games.
