In a dazzling display of resilience and passion, the 7th edition of the Netball Festival Tournament has thrown off in the rain-soaked grounds of Watoto Children’s Village/Home in Buloba Bbira, leaving spectators and participants alike in awe.

The tournament has attracted a staggering 1,078 players, including a record 280 males, battling it out in five categories across various age groups and club levels.

The female categories feature U12, U14, U16, and Club divisions, with 16 teams in U12, 12 in U14, 8 in U16, and 18 ladies’ teams, each comprising 12 players.

The male categories include U13, U16, and Men’s Clubs, with 12 teams in U13, 4 in U16, and 8 men’s clubs, each registering 10 players.

The tournament has drawn participants from 8 Primary Schools, 6 Secondary Schools, 10 Academies, 5 league, and 14 non-league clubs, showcasing the depth of talent in Ugandan netball.

As the competition heats up, teams are vying for top honors, with trophies, medals, balls, and goats up for grabs.

The climax of the tournament is set for this evening, promising an electrifying finale to a spectacular event.
