The Finance Trust Women Super League match day eight concluded on Sunday with thrilling matches across the country.

In a pulsating encounter, St Noa GFC produced an impressive 4-0 victory over Asubo Ladies FC at Kampala Quality Stadium, propelling them to fourth place on the table with 12 points.

Docas Lwalisa was the star of the show, scoring a brace to extend her season tally to four goals, while Patricia Nayiga and Esther Babirye also got on the scoresheet for the Female Jogoos.

Asubo Ladies FC, on the other hand, remain winless and deep in the relegation zone with four points from eight matches.

In other matches, Kawempe Muslim Ladies edged Lady Doves 1-0, courtesy of Asia Nakibuuka’s fifth-minute strike, extending their lead at the top of the table to five points.

She Corporate beat Rines SS WFC 2-0, with goals from Sandra Kisakye and Rebecca Nakato, pushing them to 17 points, level with Kampala Queens in second place.

Amus College comfortably defeated Makerere University 3-0, with Edina Wanda scoring a hat-trick.

She Maroons defeated holders Kampala Queens 2-0 at the Prison Grounds in Luzira.

Doreen Monica Nakayiwa and Lillian Kasuubo scored for the Prison wardens, ending Kampala Queens’ seven-game unbeaten run.

In a bizarre incident, Olila failed to turn up for their match against Uganda Martyrs, handing the Kiddawalime girls a walkover with three points and three goals.
