In a resounding display of prowess, Police FC maintained their exceptional start to the season, securing a convincing 2-0 victory over Entebbe UPPC at Bugonga Fisheries Ground.

This triumph propels the Cops to the top of the Uganda Premier League table, three points ahead of second-placed KCCA FC.

Despite Entebbe UPPC’s commanding possession and aggressive start, Police FC’s Lawrence Tezikya broke the deadlock two minutes past the half-hour mark.

Goalkeeper Rogers Omedwa’s hesitation proved costly, allowing Tezikya to capitalize on the error and score into an unguarded net.

Entebbe UPPC’s attempts to regain momentum were thwarted by Police FC’s resolute defense, even as coach Abdallah Mubiru injected fresh energy into his team with substitutions at halftime.

The visitors ultimately sealed their win with Abdushakur Ramsey Jjemba’s decisive strike eight minutes from full-time.
