The battle of the titans in Motor Rallying for 2025 top glory is set to be settled in Hoima on this coming weekend.

Top flight competition is between three-time National Rally Champion Ronald Ssebuguzi, National champion Duncan Mubiru ‘Kikankane’ who is just fresh from winning the penultimate round in Gulu, and rookie Musa Ssegabwe.

As the countdown begins, all eyes are on Hoima, where the highly anticipated Kabalega Rally 2025 is set to unfold from November 21st to 23rd.

This thrilling three-day event promises to be the climax of the 2025 National Rally Championship (NRC), with reigning contenders Ronald Ssebuguzi and Musa Ssegaabwe locked in a fierce battle for the top spot.

Ssebuguzi, currently leading the pack with 294 points, is determined to cement his position, but Ssegaabwe isn’t backing down, trailing closely with 241.5 points.

The chase is on, with Ponsiano Lwakataka (235 points), Duncan Mubiru (197 points), and Aine Sodo (184.6 points) also in the mix, each eager to seize the championship title.

The rally promises to be an adrenaline-fueled ride through Hoima’s challenging terrains, with heart-stopping speeds, tactical plays, and maybe a few surprises along the way.

Every corner, every jump, and every second will count as drivers push their limits to claim victory.

The event is proudly backed by key sponsors, including MSL Logistics, World Wide Movers, Kotiki Hotel, Kabalega Resort, SUMMA Construction, and the Mayor of Hoima, His Worship Brian Kaboyo, ensuring a bigger and better experience this year.

Safety is paramount, with seasoned technical and human resources on standby, and the organizers have promised to publicize the routes to keep spectators safe and the rally accident-free.
