Kiplimo’s Record-Breaking Win

Kiplimo’s impressive performance in the Chicago Marathon, where he set a new national record and became the world’s 7th fastest marathon runner, earned him the top spot in Athletics. His remarkable achievement was recognized with a cash prize and accolades.

Nakawala’s Table Tennis Triumph

Nakawala’s three consecutive wins, which contributed to Team Uganda’s qualification for the World Championship, secured her the Table Tennis award.

She beat out teammates Pervin Nangonzi and Judith Mirembe to take home the honor.
