The best player and coach of the FUFA Women Super League for October were today morning, the 4th November 2025 recognized in a ceremony held at the Finance Trust Bank headquarters, Twed Plaza.

Kampala Queens’ Kamiyat Naigaga and She Corporate’s Ininahazwe Belyse took home the top honors, claiming the Best Player and Best Coach awards, respectively.

Naigaga’s impressive form in October earned her the Best Player award, edging out her teammates and other top players in the league.

The prolific forward scored five goals in four games, helping Kampala Queens to two wins and two draws.

Naigaga expressed her delight at receiving the award, stating that it will motivate her to continue performing well and help her team win the league.

“Receiving this award is a huge motivation for me to continue delivering top-notch performances and securing more wins in the future.

I had to put my football career on the backburner last season due to my final exams in Senior Six, but this season, I’m fully dedicated and ready to give it my all.

My ultimate goal is to take home the Player of the Season award, claim the Golden Boot, and help my team emerge as league champions,” exclaimed a thrilled Kamiyat Naigaga.

Ininahazwe’s Tactical Mastery

Ininahazwe, meanwhile, was recognized for her outstanding coaching work, guiding She Corporate to three wins and one draw in four matches during October.

Her team’s impressive performance saw them rise to the top of the league table.

Ininahazwe credited her team’s success to teamwork and expressed his commitment to continuing to improve and win more games.

“It’s an honor to be named Best Coach in my first month at the club. This accolade is a testament to the team’s hard work and collaboration.

While we’ve made strides, we acknowledge areas for improvement, particularly in converting chances in front of goal, and we’re actively working on that.

Our strategy is to tackle each game with a fresh approach, and our sole focus is on maintaining our winning streak,” said Belyse.

Both Naigaga and Ininahazwe received a plaque and UGX 500,000 each from the league’s sponsors, Finance Trust Bank.

Additionally, Geoffrey Mugabi Junior of Sports Nation and Sharifah Nambi of NTV were recognized as the Best Journalists of the Month for October.
