The draws for the highly anticipated Netball competition at the 2025 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games have been held at the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Head offices, GNS Plaza, Old Kampala.

The games are scheduled to take place from August 12th to 23rd, 2025, in Kakamega County, Kenya.

Thirteen teams from East Africa will compete in two groups, each vying for the coveted trophy.

Defending champions St. Mary’s Kitende will be looking to reclaim their title, but they will face stiff competition from other top teams in the region.

Notably, St. Mary’s Kitende will not be participating as the National champion for the first time since 2013, having been outmuscled by Buddo SS in the recently concluded National championship in Tororo.

In the last two decades, three Ugandan schools have won the FEASSA Netball championship.

Gombe SS (2002) and St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana (2018).

St. Mary’s Kitende has not been champions in only 2018, and and 2022.

This year’s edition promises to be exciting, with Hamdan Islamic making their debut in the tournament.
