A major shockwave has reverberated through the 2025 U15 CAF boys football qualifiers at the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) National Ball Games II championship in Tororo.

God’s Way High School – Maganjo has pulled off a stunning 1-0 victory over defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende.

Young star Hamuza Kaggwa scored the decisive goal, sending shockwaves throughout the tournament.

After a thrilling goalless draw against Amus College School in day two, God’s Way has climbed to fourth place on five points, just two points off table leaders Amus College.

The Maganjo-based team, arguably the youngest in the tournament, will need to win both their remaining fixtures against STAHIZA and Kakungulu Memorial to advance to the next stage.

Their fate will also depend on Kitende’s performance against Amus College and Mt St Henry’s.

In other Group A matches, Logan Lusibigye’s goal secured a 1-0 win for Standard High School-Zzana, Ndejje campus over Kakungulu Memorial.

Amus College dominated Mt St Henry’s High School 3-0, with Musa Ssuuna, Patrick Ogwenrot, and Aaron Sselumu scoring.

In Group B, Buddo SS extended their winning streak with a 1-0 victory over Bukedea Comprehensive School, courtesy of Owen Mukisa’s goal.

Lubiri SS registered their first win, beating Jinja College School 1-0.
