The 5th Edition of the All Islamic Schools (AIS) Games 2025 Netball) has officially thrown off at Madina Islamic Secondary School in Nsangi, Katereke.

The Netball championship has been heating up, with four teams storming into the semi-final stage after quarter-final triumphs.

Quarter-Final Results

Hosts Madina Islamic outclassed Bilal Islamic Secondary School (Bwaise) 22-05 in the quarter-finals, while holders Greenlight Islamic Secondary School – Nansana thumped Kampala Islamic 22-03 to sail into the semi-finals.

Hamdan Islamic eased past TopTimes in a 22-04 victory, and Mehan Aspire squeezed past Dar-Salaam 12-07 to reach the semi-finals.

Semi-Final Matchups

The semi-finals are set to take place this morning, with Greenlight Islamic facing off against Mehan Aspire and Madina Islamic taking on Hamdan Islamic.

The final and awarding ceremony will follow in the evening.

Tournament History

The All Islamic Schools Games have a rich history, with the first edition held in 2019 before being halted by the COVID-19 lockdown.

The games resumed in 2022 with the second edition, and this year marks the 5th Edition.

Last year’s champions included Madina Islamic in football, Greenlight Islamic in netball, and Bugembe Islamic in volleyball.
