The Uganda Cranes coaching duo of Fred Muhumuza and Morley Byekwaso has officially announced the provisional squad for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
The 41-player squad, comprising of players from the Uganda Premier League, will begin non-residential training on Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at the Prisons ground in Luzira.
Tournament Details
The CHAN 2024 tournament, scheduled to take place from August 2nd to 30th, 2025, will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.
This prestigious event marks a significant moment for East African football, bringing together top teams from across the continent.
Group Stage Opponents
Uganda was drawn into Group C, alongside Niger, Algeria, and South Africa.
The team will face stiff competition in the group stage, but with a strong squad in place, they are poised to make a deep run in the tournament.
