The Futsal Uganda Cup semifinals delivered thrilling matches, with Mengo City and Kisenyi FC emerging victorious and booking their spots in the final.

Mengo City dominated Kabuusu Clouds 4-1, thanks to a first-half brace from Abdulkarim Tebera and a fourth goal from Ian Tugume in the second half.

In the other semifinal, Kisenyi FC edged out defending champions Park FC 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in regulation time.

The match was intense, with both teams creating scoring opportunities.

However, it was Kisenyi who showed composure in the penalty shootout, converting all five of their spot-kicks.

The final between Mengo City and Kisenyi FC is set to take place on Friday, May 23, at Old Kampala Futsal Arena.

Both teams are in top form and will be vying for silverware.

The stage is set for an exciting showdown between these two formidable sides.

 

The semifinal results:

– Mengo City 4-1 Kabuusu Clouds

– Kisenyi FC 2 (5), Park FC 2 (3) in penalties

 

The Futsal Uganda Cup final promises to be an electrifying encounter, with both Mengo City and Kisenyi FC looking to claim the championship title.
