Kawempe Muslim Clinches 11th UMEA Solidarity Games Girls Football Title
Kawempe Muslim Secondary School has successfully defended their girls football title, dominating Nkoma SS 3-0 in the final match. Kawempe Muslim Secondary School has successfully defended their girls football title, dominating Nkoma SS 3-0 in the final match.

Monica Nannono, Agnes Nabukenya, and Kevin Nanyunja scored the goals that sealed Kawempe’s victory.

 

In the semifinals, Kawempe Muslim demonstrated their strength by defeating their side B 3-0, with Agnes Nabukenya scoring twice and Dorcus Kisakye adding another goal.

Kawempe had topped Group A with maximum points, winning all three of their group games.

Nkoma SS, on the other hand, reached the final by beating Masaka SS 1-0 in the semifinals.

Despite their valiant effort, they were unable to match Kawempe’s skill and determination.

This victory marks Kawempe Muslim Secondary School’s 11th UMEA Solidarity Games girls football title, solidifying their dominance in the tournament since its inception in 2012.

The tournament, which featured seven teams, commenced on April 17th and concluded with Prince Kasim Nakibinge as the chief guest.
