The 2025 Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Wakiso Zone boys football quarterfinals are set to kick off this morning, with 16 teams vying for a coveted spot in the semifinals.

The most highly anticipated matchup of the day is the thrilling encounter between Nansana zone champions Greenlight Islamic Secondary School and Zana Mixed Secondary School, scheduled to take place at 11AM at Buddo SS Grounds.

This highly anticipated fixture promises to be an electrifying contest, with both teams showcasing their skills and determination.

Another match that is generating significant interest is the tie between Matugga-based Kyaddondo SS and Kisozi SS, which is expected to be a closely contested affair.

Other notable fixtures include Standard High School-Zzana vs. St. James Buddo, Madina Islamic vs. Aidan College, and Buddo SS vs. London College-Nansana, which will take place at Buddo SS Grounds.

Light College Katikamu will face either Kawempe Royal College or Cityland College, while defending champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende will battle Ndejje High School.

The winner of the match between Kajjansi Progressive and Andy Mwesigwa will face Kakungulu High School in another exciting matchup.

St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School-Kitende are the defending champions, having won last year’s final with a 1-0 victory over Buddo SS.
