Two Uganda Premier League sides have contacted the representatives of Express FC forward Rashid Kawawa about his availability.

Vipers SC and KCCA FC are the two sides that have reached out to Kawawa’s representatives to inquire about his availability in the January transfer window.

On Thursday, 28th November, Kawawa netted a brace as his side beat Mbarara City 3-1 in Nakivubo.

The pacy winger has become one of the key members of the team and the standouts in the league this season.

The former Arua Hill man has netted two goals and registered one assist so far, but he has been creating scoring chances, making him a dangerous opponent.

The 24-year-old flamboyant talent has played nine games and a total of 557 minutes in the league.

Kawawa is one of the highly-rated talents in the league, notably remembered for winning the UPL Young Player of the Season in the 2021/22 season.

The transfer window will open in just 28 days from now. Kawawa has previously played for Oli Rising Stars and Arua Hill.
