The Uganda Cranes lanky defender, Elio Capradossi, has joined AS Cittadella in Italy’s Serie B.

Capradossi had been a free agent after parting ways with Lecco Calcio at the end of last season.

He will play for AS Cittadella until the end of this season.

Capradossi had been sought after by many clubs, mostly in Italy.

AS Cittadella is currently sitting in the relegation zone in the Serie B summit.

Capradossi has previously had stints at Bari, Spezia, AS Roma, Cagliari, and SPAL.

He made his Uganda Cranes debut against Botswana in the World Cup qualifiers this year and has gone on to play three more games for Uganda Cranes, earning a total of four caps.

Despite playing for Italian underage national teams, he has chose to represent Uganda at the senior level.
