Rines SS Women Football Club have registered a massive 3-1 win over Makerere University in the Finance Trust Women Super League.

The emphatic win was earned at their fortress Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso, on Sunday morning, the 17th November 2024.

Patricia Nakato scored as early as five minutes into the game before Zaina Namuleme pulled one back in the 19th minute.

Phiona Arach recovered Rines’ lead in 24 minutes into the game and Jasmine Nalukwago sealed it in the 38th minute with the third.

The win moved Rines to a third place on the log with 11 points in seven games while Makerere University is 6th on nine (9) points.

In their next games, Rines will host She Corporate at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso on Saturday 22, whilst Makerere face Lady Doves at day before in Masindi.

Elsewhere, Uganda Martyrs Women Football Club come twice from a goal behind to pick a point away to Amus College School.
