Latifah Nakasi was a shining star as her side Uganda Martyrs Women Football Club laboured to pick a point off hosts Amus College in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League tie.

Nakasi scored a brace to inspire the Lubaga based side to a point.

An early goal by Esther Namataka in the 7th minute gave Amus College a 1-0 lead.

13 minutes later in the 20th minute, Latifah Nakasi scored an equalizer as both sides squared up at the break.

Shayline Opisa recovered the lead for Amus ten minutes off the restart .

However, Nakasi’s heroics and magic cancelled it with a 66th minute strike to end the game in spoils.

A point places Amus College in the 5th place on nine (9) points.

Meanwhile, Uganda Martyrs are 9th with just seven points in seven games.

Uganda Martyrs will face off with Lady Doves at Bugolobi Coffee Grounds on Saturday 23rd .

On the same day, Amus College WFC’s will host She Maroons at Amus Stadium in Bukedea.
