The match day three of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Women Super League will continue this Sunday morning with two games.

Defending champions and table leaders Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC will be on road to She Maroons in Luzira in the day’s biggest clash while Rines SS WFC host newcomers Amus College WFC in Wakiso.

She Maroons FC vs. Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC – Luzira

The two unbeaten sides meet in what promises to be a highly contested game. Kawempe has won their two opening games.

The all time champions have scored a record six goals and yet to concede. She Maroons has a draw and a win in two games and are also yet to concede this season.

Agnes Nabukenya seeks to add to her tally, having scored four goals in two games, leading the top scorer’s chart.

Last season, Kawempe Muslim was lucky to grab a point from Luzira, thanks to goalkeeper Juliet Adeke’s brilliant performance.

However, in the second leg, the Valley Warriors narrowly defeated She Maroons in Kawempe.

A win for Kawempe will stretch their lead at the top of the table by four points as they hunt to retain the league title.

Speaking to the media, She Maroons head coach Simon Peter Ochuka expressed confidence ahead of today’s clash.

“We’ve had good preparations for this game, and I have no injury worries as all my players are available. We are ready to win the game.”

Rines SS WFC vs. Amus College WFC – Wakiso

Winless Rines SS WFC welcomes newcomers Amus College WFC at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso seeking for their first victory this season.

This is the first-ever meeting between the two in top-flight football.

The hosts lost 3-0 to Kawempe in their opening game before their second game against Olila High School WFC was abandoned.

The visitors won their first game 1-0 against Olila before being stunned 3-1 by Lady Doves at home.

Coach Faridah Bulega faces an uphill task, seeking three points away from home against a tough opponent.
