Four games were played on Saturday morning on match day three of the 2024/25 Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League.

It was another dull duel at Makerere Grounds as She Makerere and Kampala Queens FC shared the spoils in a goalless draw.

The draw implies Kampala Queens have now dropped four points in the season after match day three.

Uganda Martyrs defeated Tooro Queens 1-0 to register their first victory this season while She Corporate FC dropped points again after a 0-0 draw with Olila in Nakawa.

In the other day’s game, Wakiso Hill remained winless after a 1-1 draw with Lady Doves.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC 1-0 Tooro Queens FC

Defender Auki Kigongo Angel scored the only goal as Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women FC managed to secure their first victory this season, leaving Tooro Queens winless after three games.

Uganda Martyrs had lost their first two games before winning on Saturday, while Tooro Queens have now lost two back-to-back games, with their only point coming in the first game when they shared spoils with Lady Doves in a 1-1 draw.

In the next game, Uganda Martyrs will visit Kampala Queens on Saturday the 19th October 2024, while Tooro Queens will host Rines SS WFC on the same day in Buhinga.

She Makerere FC 0:0 Kampala Queens FC

For the fourth time in a row, this fixture ended in a draw, but this time it was the first without a goal.

Kampala Queens had a chance to take the lead in the first minute, but Shamusa Najjuma carelessly wasted the opportunity.

Last season’s joint top scorer, Sharon Namatovu, had two open chances to put Makerere in the lead but wasted them before substitute Sumaya Nalumu hit the crossbar.

Both teams remain unbeaten, having collected five points in three games, but She Makerere is yet to concede a goal this season.

In the next game, Kampala Queens will host Uganda Martyrs on Saturday, October 19, 2024, while She Makerere will visit defending champions Kawempe the following day.

She Corporate FC 0:0 Olila H/S WFC

After losing their previous game to Kampala Queens FC, She Corporate FC had a chance to get back to winning ways, but Olila put up a fight to grab a point away from home in a goalless draw.

This was Olila’s first point this season, after losing their first game and having their match with Rines abandoned, with a decision yet to be made.

Olila will seek their first victory this season on Sunday, October 20, 2024, as they host She Maroons, while She Corporate will be on the road to play Lady Doves on the same day.

Wakiso Hill WFC 1:1 Lady Doves FC

The Wakiso-based side failed to pick maximum points as they came from behind to share spoils with Lady Doves in a 1-1 draw in Kitende.

After drawing their first game, Wakiso Hill lost their second game to Kawempe and failed to get three points against Lady Doves this weekend.

The Kitende based side remain winless after match day three, while the Believers are still unbeaten, collecting two draws and one victory.

Lydia Nyandera put the visitors in the lead in the 20th minute before Anitah Tezikya equalized before the break to ensure her side didn’t lose back-to-back games.

Wakiso Hill WFC will visit Amus College WFC on Saturday, October 19, as the hunt for their first victory continues, while on the following day, Lady Doves will host desperate She Corporate FC.
