The Uganda U20 men’s team, the Uganda Hippos, will be in action today against South Sudan for their last Group B game in the U20 TotalEnergies AFCON Zonal Qualifiers.
In the match, to be played at KMC Stadium in Tanzania at 4:00 PM, Mathias Lule’s boys will be hunting for their third consecutive win to seal the top spot in the group.
Uganda Hippos defeated Ethiopia 3-0 in the opener before beating Burundi 4-1 in the second game and have already qualified for the semifinals.

“We want to win every game, that’s why we are here. Yes, we’ve already qualified for the semifinals, but the boys should be focused on securing victory,” said committed Lule.
It is worth noting that the two finalists will secure a spot in the U20 AFCON final tournament.
