The defending champions of the Finance Trust Women Super League, Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC have continued with their impressive start to the 2024/25 season into game two in a classic 3-0 win over hosts Wakiso Hill WFC.

The game was held this Sunday, the 6th October 2024 at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.

Sumayah Nabutto, Hadijah Nandago and Agnes Nabukenya were on score sheet for Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC.

In 66 minutes, Sumayah Nabbuto broke the deadlock when she slotted the ball into the far left low corner off a Shadia Nabirye cross from the right side.

Nine minutes later in the 75th minute, player of the match Hadijah Nandago initiated a counter attack to dribble past four to involve Shadia Nabirye who finally set up her for a simple tap in.

Star forward Agnes Nabukenya Agnes Nabukenya sealed the victory with the third on the day to extend her season tally to four after match day two.

The win follows their 3-0 triumph against Rines SS on the opening matchday of the season.

 Agnes Nabukenya started the season with a hat-trick in their home win at the Kawempe fortress Valley last weekend.

In the other games of the day, She Maroons recorded their first win of the season by defeating Uganda Martyrs 2-0 in Luzira

She Maroons registered their 1-0 lead in the 75th minute through a Racheal Nassimbwa strike.

New signing Norah Alupo stole the show on her home debut, scoring a stoppage-time stunner to seal a 2-0 victory for the female warders over Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC.

Meanwhile, Lady Doves also picked their maiden win of the campaign by beating newbies Amusi College 3-1 at Amusi Stadium.

Resty Kobusobozi scored in 23 minutes, Docus Kwikiriza (35) and Cecilia Apiding sealed the victory in the 48th minute.
