With just three days to the tee off of the 21st edition of Federation of East African Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) games, the draws were held yesterday, the 12th August at GNS Hotel in Kampala.

FEASSA girls basketball reigning champions St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende, Buddo SS, St. Girls Secondary School-Zana and Nabisunsa Girls learnt their opponents.

In Group A of 5X5 Girls Basketball, St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary School – Kitende will face Buruburu (Kenya), Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School (Uganda) and Orkweswa (Tanzania).

Group B has the 2019 champions St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, Buddo SS (Uganda), GS Marie Reine Musanze (Rwanda), Kayatiwi of Kenya and another Kenyan side Butere Girls High School.

Meanwhile, 3X3 basketball attracted ten girls teams. They were also pooled in two groups.

Group A has Raila Educational Centre (Kenya), Seroma Christian High School (Uganda), Butere Girls’ (Kenya), Uganda’s National champions St. Noa Girls’ Secondary School-Zana and Mbinga Girls (Tanzania)

Group B is composed of Nabisunsa Girls’ School (Uganda), Ape Rugunga SS (Rwanda), St. Mary’s Kitende, St.Joseph’s Girls’ Kitale (Kenya) and Nakosol Girls (Kenya).

In the boys, group A has host Amus College School, Agoro Sare (Kenya), It’s Gasogi (Rwanda) and Uganda national champions Hope SS.

Group B is composed of Dr. Aggrey (Kenya), FEASSA defending champions Buddo SS, Janan Schools (Uganda) and Laiser Hill Academy of Kenya.

The 21st edition of the FEASSA Games will be held in Bukedea at Bukedea Comprehensive School and Amus College School from 16th to 24th August 2024.
