On form Bululi, Ssingo start second round at home as they hope to extend unbeaten runs

Match day six of the 2024 Masaza Cup tournament will climax today with seven (7) games on the menu card.

On form Bululi is at home to welcome Bugerere at Kakooge this Sunday, the 11th  August 2024 as they look forward to use the home advantage for maximum points.

In the first round, the 2011 champions  Buluuli garnered a record 11 points out of the possible 15 to top Bulange Group.

Buluuli managed three first round wins and two draws. The side is still unbeaten after five games.

15 days back in the first leg played at Ntenjeru in Kayunga (Bugerere) Bululi through Robert Ssewanyana’s goal  beat the host 1-0.

In another Bulange group tie,  Bulemeezi will host Buddu at Kosovo ground Kasana Luweero while Kyadondo shall welcome the troubled Butambala in Gayaza.

 

Defending champions Bulemeezi occupies the bottom of the group with only three points.

The Kangawo boys have won once and lost four in the group.

Meanwhile, Buddu have won two and drawn once to collect seven (7) points in the 4th position.

On the same day another high performing  Ssingo is in reverse fixtures at home against Mawogola.

Both teams drew 0-0 in their last meeting in Mawogola. Ssingo returns to Mityana Ssaza ground where they have played 2 games winning all against Gomba (4-0) and (2-0) over Kyaggwe.

Ssingo are still unbeaten in five games. They have won three and drawn two, collecting 11 points in the process, one above second placed Kyaggwe.

Meanwhile, the visiting Mawogola sits 4th  on 7 points as all teams are having 5 games.

In the same Muganzirwaza group,  struggling Gomba is on road to Buwekula and Kyaggwe will travel to Kooki.

The all time champions Gomba are second last on the table on three (3) points, only two above the 5th placed Kooki.

With two games already played in Masengere, one more game is up there this Sunday between Busujju and Mawokota.

In the same group Kabula defeated Ssese 3-1 to reach 13 points from 6 games while Busiro registered their first win of the campaign (1-0)  over Buvuma.
