UCU Lady Cannons completed a sweep against Stormers to secure their place in the Semifinals of the ongoing National Basketball League Playoffs.

In a ten points different victory, the Cannons advanced to the semi-finals with a 2-0 series triumph.

UCU beat Magic Stormers 68-58 to book a semi-final date with KIU Rangers who advanced with a sweep against Miracles Ravens.

In the first tie, the Lady Cannons narrowly won the first game 48-46 on July 13.

In the other Women’s division semi-final, JKL Lady Dolphins will face JT Lady Jaguars.

In the men’s division, KCCA Panthers won 79-62 against UCU Canons to force a decider.

KCCA entered the second game trailing 1-0 after a 60-80 defeat on July 12. After last night’s contest, there shall be a decider.

The winner of this series will advance to face defending champions City Oilers.

Meanwhile, the other semifinal will see KIU Titans take on Nam Blazers.
