USSSA Confirms: Halted quarter-final games for girls football in Fresh Dairy Games for this month

Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has today 4th June 2024 confirmed that the girls’ football quarterfinals of the Fresh Dairy Secondary school games are to be played this month.

The games were halted at the quarter-final stage after most teams sent their players for National team duty where Uganda’s teen cranes had to face Zambia in a home and away clash in the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, the games.

It’s now confirmed games will be played at Ndejje University and Standard High School Zzana, Ndejje campus starting on 19th  June to 21st June 2024.

According to USSSA website, teams will arrive at Ndejje University on the 18th of June 2024 and games will kick off on the 19th.

The semi-finals and classification games will be on the 20th before the final on the 21st of June.

In the quarter-final, defending Champions Amus College will face Sacred Heart SS, Gulu, Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga vs Kawempe Muslim SS, Rines SS take on Sheema Girls whilst, Boni Concilli Girls’ Vocational will lock horns with St. Noa Girls’ Secondary School-Zana.

The association will cater for the welfare of the teams (accommodation and feeding).
