USSSA releases 2024 National Ball Games II roadmap

Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) has officially released the roadmap for 2024 Ball Games II slated for 9th  to 17th  July at Teso College Aleot in Soroti.

The roadmap outlines the registration and transfers process and procedures for players ahead of qualifiers and the national championship.

In the released document, online registration and district qualifiers will start on 25th May 2024 and close on  25th the same month.

According to the document, all district qualifiers must be concluded by 15th June 2024.

On 10th June, Zonal qualifiers shall start and be ended by 30th June to give room to the commencement of payments and verification of qualified schools to national championship.

The payments and verification shall begin on 20th June 2024, and conclude on 3rd July 2024.

 

The replacement of teams at the zonal level will commence on 1st July   4th ahead of the launch and national draws on  5th.

This edition’s Ball Games II will be played at Teso College Aloet in Soroti district from 9th to 17th July.

12 sports disciplines including netball, volleyball, football U16, basketball 3×3, rugby 7’s, handball, athletics, cross country, woodball, dance sport, beach soccer, beach volleyball, and lacrosse shall be competed for during the games.

Uganda will later in August host the Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games.

Bekedea Comprehensive School and Amus College are this year’s co-host schools.
