Holders St. Mary’s Boarding Secondary – Kitende, title favorites St. Noa Girls Secondary School-Zana, Buddo SS and Nabisunsa Girls Secondary School are the girls basketball sides in this year’s USSSA Fresh Dairy Games semi-finals.

Bushirah Namuyanja fetched most points (14) for Wakiso Region champions St. Noa Girls in their emphatic 40-17 quarter-final win against Kibuli SS.

The win for the Zana based side ensured a semi-final date with Buddo SS.

Buddo SS eliminated Mbogo Mixed in 33-12 quarter-final to reach this year’s semi-final stage and also bounce back to FEASSSA games after missing on last year.

Doreen Nakibuuka of Buddo posted the most points (12) in the game while Asacha Mariam was the best rebounder with (6).

The last semi-final game will be between holders Kitende and Nabisunsa Girls.

Defending champions Kitende beat Seroma Christian High School 32-29 in the quarter-finals.

Mariam Namukwaya posted 8 points for Kitende while Vanessa Nakyaze fetched 8 points for Seroma.

In the boys semi-finals, Buddo SS who eliminated Kibuli SS will face off with Janan. Janan eliminated Seeta in the quarter-finals.

The second semi-final will between Mbogo and Hope SS. Hope beat Seroma while Mbogo Mixed eliminated Amus College.
