Fortebet Monthly Sports Awards: Wokorach, Shaban Muhammad, Farahat awarded for April excellence

Real Stars Sports Agency in conjunction with its partners Fortebet and Jude Color Solutions have today awarded three athletes who excelled in the month of April.
The awarding ceremony was held at Jude Color Solutions Offices at Prime Complex in Kampala.
The Heathens captain, Micheal Wokorach, KCCA forward Muhammad Shaban and Farahat Manirola were named the best athletes in Ruby, football and boxing for the month of April.
 Shaban Muhammad beat Sharon Namatovu of She Makerere and Kitara’s Paul Muchreezi to win the April accolade.
The KCCA FC striker scored four goals in four games and one assist. His performance propelled KCCA FC into title contention.
In boxing, Farahat Manirola won the boxing award. The Kyebando based Farahat beat competitors  Henry Kasujja and Harlod Mukuye.
The Superlight Nightmare defeated DR. Congo’s Gael Assuman here in Kampala with a knockout to rank number one in Uganda and second in Africa.
The 19-year-old Farahat has 9 bouts in his professional career with 5 knockouts.
The Heathens captain, Micheal Wokorach won the rugby category award.
Micheal Wokorach, the Heathens captain beat off the competition from youngsters, Emily Lekuru of Black Pearls and Yasin Wasswa of Jinja Hippos.
The former Rugby Cranes captain played three games in the month of April for the Heathens, with one man of the match performance against Impis.
His performance throughout the month saw Heathens finishing the regular season unbeaten.
His transition from the center to 8th man, has seen his side improving in propelling in front with vigour.
