URA FC have confirmed parting ways with head coach David Obua.

Obua leaves with his assistant Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and the fitness coach Kawa.

URA FC released an official document for the trios departure,

“After careful consideration and mutual agreement, URA FC and head coach David Obua have decided to part ways, terminating his one year contract five months into his tenure.

“Alongside him his first assistant Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and fitness coach Kawa have also left the club”

“The club expresses gratitude to coach Obua for his contributions and wishes him the very best in his future endeavors.”

The former Uganda Cranes International managed 20 games at URA won eight, lost eight and drew four.

Robert Mukasa takes over on interim basis and will be assisted by Illic Molish, Allan Owiny, Robert Ssentongo and goalkeeper coach Swaibu Ssebagala.

The Tax Collectors are in the ninth position with 31 points they next host NEC FC on Tuesday 16th April.
