URA FC have confirmed Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso as their new home ground for the rest of 2023/24 season.

The Tax Collectors were hosting their games at Mehta Stadium in Lugazi but it is no longer available since its under renovation to become a cricket facility.

“The change in venue signifies a fresh chapter for the team, as they fear up to face NEC FC in their inaugural match at the new stadium next Tuesday in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

“With a string of crucial fixtures ahead including clashes against KCCA FC, Busoga United and Soltilo Bright Stars in the final game of the season.

“Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium also home of Wakiso Giants, promises to provide an electrifying atmosphere for both players and supporters alike.”

The club also confirmed the departure of head coach David Obua, his assistant, Peter Byaruhanga Adyeri and trainer Kawa.

They are in the ninth position with 21 points.
