The 2023 edition of the Uganda Youth Football Association (UYFA) championship has hit semi-final stage.

Budondo Soccer Academy became the first team to book a slot in semi-finals of the Championship with a 5-4 win against Paorinher after penalties.

The two sides played for a goalless draw in the normal time.

Kampala Galaxy Soccer Academy followed the route after beating Spot the Talent by 1-0 in the second quarter-final of the day.

Hamza Bukenya scored Kampala Galaxy’s goal.

It was a 4-1 penalties win for Della Tore against Volf Soccer Academy in the third (3rd) quarter-final.

The normal play ended goalless as both sides failed to find the back of the net.

In the final game of the quarter-final stage, Rays of Grace through a Dissan Mwebe strike beat Mentor International Sports Academy by 1-0 to seal semi-final slot.

The Semi-final ties are to be between Kampala Galaxy up against Budondo while Rays of Grace Academy will battle Della Tore in the last semi-final of the day
