John Nsibambi the Uganda U20 National Kabaddi team (The Gladiators) has announced a 12 man squad to travel to Tehran, Iran for Kabaddi Junior World Cup.

The initially 18 man squad that was summoned for a residential training over the past couple of weeks, was trimmed over the weekend.

Uganda U20 National Kabaddi team (The Gladiators) is set to play at the Kabaddi Junior World Cup scheduled for 28th February to 5th March in Tehran, Iran.

This will be the second appearance for Uganda Gladiators at the youth pinnacle event with their ever first time coming way back in 2019.

A total of eighteen (18) players have been training, from whom the final 12 man squad was selected and announced this weekend.

The team will fly out of the country a head of the tournament to Tehran on 26th February.

Uganda will have to pass hard tests from Nations like the sport fathers India, Pakistan, hosts Iran, Indonesia, South Korea, Poland, England, Nepal, Kenya, Takministan, and Iraq.
