Newly promoted UPL side Mbarara City FC have officially unveiled Wasswa Bbosa as their next head coach.

Bbosa replaces Sadick Ssempigi who left the club after guiding them to the top flight.

He has been awarded a contract of one year which is renewable

Bbosa is a former coach at SC Villa, Tooro United, Gaddafi FC and Express FC.

At Express FC he won the Uganda Premier League title in the 2020/21 season and the CECAFA trophy.

Mbarara City has already lost Jude Ssemugabi who confirmed his departure from the club.

The Ankole Lions have reportedly signed Joseph Akandwanaho from Express

Mbarara City bounced back to the Uganda Premier League when they finished second in the recently concluded FUFA Big League season with 60 points
