Reports moving around different platforms indicate that Vipers SC and head coach Nikola Kavazovic have parted ways ahead of their Wakiso derby tie against Wakiso Giants.

The Serbian was unveiled in June 2024 on a two-year contract replacing Livingstone Mbabazi.

Following a series of ‘poor results’ Vipers first suspended Kavazovic for 7 days before pulling the firing trigger.

He missed their 2-1 win over SC Villa at Kitende as he served the suspension.

John Ayala Luyinda who was in charge of that game is expected to be in charge again when they visit Wakiso Giants this Thursday at Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium in Wakiso.

More details about this will follow immediately after the official statement by the club is released.
