The official draw for the Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association (USSSA) Wakiso Zone boys’ football championship has been conducted, placing participating schools into eight highly competitive groups of six teams each.

Widely regarded as one of the toughest zones due to the depth of talent across schools, the Wakiso draw has once again produced compelling matchups—blending established powerhouses with ambitious emerging sides.

The groupings set the tone for what promises to be an intense and entertaining qualification campaign.

Group A features Kasanje S.S, Buwambo Seed, St Gyaviira, LC III, SMASK, and AMESCU.

In Group B, Lake View Kitebi headlines a challenging pool that includes St John’s Gayaza, London College, Entebbe Parents, St Andrew’s, and Kawanda S.S.

Group C brings together Oxford High School, St Mary’s Migadde, Boston High School, City Revival, Kyaddondo S.S, and Ndejje High School.

Meanwhile, Group D comprises Elite High School, Zana Mixed, St Austin’s High School, Kampala Islamic, Green Light, and Light High School Seguku.

In Group E, Namboole High School will contend with Brightland, Kawempe S.S, Stahiza, St James Buddo, and LC I in what appears to be a tightly balanced group.

Group F includes Canaan High School, Maryland High School, Kajjansi Progressive, Emirates College, Madinah Islamic, and LC II.

Group G sees Kakungulu High School drawn alongside Kasule High School, Entebbe Airforce, Kawempe Royal, Buloba Christian, and Alliance High School Nansana.

Finally, Group H comprises Wampewo Ntake, Brethren, Buddo S.S, Aidan College, Central College Nateete, and God’s Way.

With evenly matched pools and a healthy mix of experienced contenders and rising teams across all groups, the tournament is poised to deliver thrilling encounters.

Schools will battle not only for zonal supremacy but also for the coveted six qualification slots to the national championship.

This year’s USSSA National Boys’ Football Championship is scheduled for May in Lira, with Lira Town College set to host the prestigious event.
