Wakiso Giants will return to action away to Blacks Power in Lira seeking a return to winning ways in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League on Wednesday evening.

The Purple Sharks have suffered a slump in form and the target will be to pick maximum points from a hostile territory against a side fighting for their lives.

“It will be tough facing a side in their situation but we have to show desire as we have gone some good games with no win,” coach Ayala said.

“We played recently at the same venue in the Uganda Cup and we know what to expect,” he added.

Titus Ssematimba, Hassan Ssenyonjo and Shariph Kimbowa were injured in the Uganda Cup against Vipers and could miss out.

Paul Willa who also left the pitch after being elbowed by Ahmed Desire Tety is also doubtful despite returning to training.

Moses Aliro had a cameo against Vipers on return from injury and should be fully fit to feature.

Hussein Mbalangu’s men dropped into the red zone after defeat to Soltilo Bright Stars last week and will be eager to bounce back.

Vitalis Tabu, Michael Siwu and Dickens Okwir will be the players we look out for.

This will be the second meeting in the Premier League with the reverse fixture ending in a 2-1 win for the Purple Sharks.

Overall, the two sides have clashed four times with three wins and one draw which Wakiso Giants won in the penalty in the shootout in the Uganda Cup this season.
