Vipers SC forward Yunus Sentamu claims that the Venoms didn’t deserve a draw against Soltilo Bright Stars.

The Kitende based side got off the 2022/23 Uganda Premier League season to a somewhat unpleasant start, after a 0-0 stalemate with Soltilo Bright Stars, at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Friday.

Despite hugely dominating the game, creating a number of great scoring opportunities, the Venoms could just not put the ball past our opponents’ goalkeeper, Hassan Matovu.

According to Sentamu, this is not the result deserved by Vipers.

“The result hurts after our best performance for a while. We didn’t deserve to draw. But thanks for your amazing support at home this afternoon. We go again on 9th/10/22,” Sentamu said.

The Venoms will return to action with a home bout in the CAF Champions League against TP Mazembe on Independence day (October 9) at St Mary’s Stadium-Kitende.
