Uganda U20 National Kabaddi team (The Gladiators) is set to play at the Kabaddi Junior World Cup scheduled for 28^th February to 5^th March in Tehran, Iran.

This will be the second appearance for Uganda Gladiators at the youth pinnacle event with their ever first time coming way back in 2019.

Currently, the youth side is in a residential training camp at Matugga Kabaddi Ground as preparations for World Cup intensify.

A total of eighteen (18) players are in training, from whom the final 12 man squad will be selected and announced on Tuesday 21^st February 2023.

The team will fly out of the country a head of the tournament to Tehran on 26^th February.

Uganda will have to pass hard tests from Nations like the sport fathers India, Pakistan, hosts Iran, Indonesia, South Korea, Poland, England, Nepal, Kenya, Takministan, and Iraq.
