The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) revealed the new dates for Uganda Premier League season 2020/21.

According to circular dated 6th October 2020, FUFA Deputy CEO- Football, Decolas Kiiza asserted that the new season returns on 20th November 2020.

Kick off of the 2020/21 season is postponed from Saturday, 17th October 2020 to Friday, 20th November 2020.” Reads part of the statement.

This has consequently had an effect on the club licensing and player registration exercises which have also had their deadlines shifted. the circular reads in parts.

The circular also confirmed that the Club Licensing ended in mid October 2020.

The Club Licensing exercise has been extended to 15th October to enable the process of planning and release of fixtures by Tuesday, 20th October 2020.”
