Uganda Cubs head coach Brian Ssenyondo has named the final 21-man squad for the U-17 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The team will feature a mix of experienced and young players, with three goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders, and six forwards.

The Uganda Cubs have been in rigorous training, playing friendly matches against top teams in Uganda and abroad.

Their preparation for the tournament included three build-up games in Dubai, where they drew against Venezuela and Panama before losing to Paraguay.

The team also played friendly games against KCCA FC and Amus College during their camp in Uganda.

The Uganda Cubs will face stiff competition in Group K, where they are pitted against Canada, Chile, and France.

Their first match is against Canada on November 5, 2025.
