Ndejje University has managed to avenge their first leg 2-1 loss to Gulu University in style with a 3-1 second-leg victory at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje on Wednesday.

Edwin Angelo’s own goal opened scoring in the eighth minute before Enos Enjoku scored in the 31st minute.

Ocira Moses then scored in the 40th before a late goal from Ojuka Ronald Abraham in the 79th minute.

The victory took Ndejje from the bottom of Group E to the top with six points while Gulu slipped into second place with the same number of points but the former has a better goal difference.

Kampala University is also on six points but they have dropped to third place having played a game less.

KU will visit Uganda Martyrs University which is now at the bottom of the group with three pts on Thursday, 26th May in the fourth game for both sides.
