The Uganda Premier League newbies, Malaba Youth Development Association (MYDA) football club confirmed the third signing of the season.

The Eastern Uganda based side signed a defender, Yakubu Ramathan from Zambia outfit Lusaka Dynamos and he committed himself to the club for the next two seasons.

The lanky defender after signing a two year employment contract, he extended his gratitude for bouncing back home and playing for a new team that he great ambition.

I am really happy to be back home and delighted to sign for the new top league entrants.” The former Bright Stars player told this website before adding. “I am going to do all that in my potential to see that we maintain our team in the league and display a good game in this new season of Uganda Premier League, and I am glad to be here.”

The former skipper of Kenyan Giants AFC Leopards has come with a varsity of experience that will help Samadu Musafiri coached side to fight for a good place in league.

Ramathan joined the first two signings for the club, Waiswa Kasango Alajabu, a midfielder from Kamuli Parks FC and Doka Isaac, the attacking midfielder from six-time league champions, Express FC.
