Wakiso Giants FC will be optimistic of registering positive results as they visit Onduparaka on Tuesday at the Green Light stadium.

The Purple Sharks who are eager to keep their decent run will be will be raring to give a good account of themselves against a home side that is always resilient when playing in front of its own fans.

Coming into the game, the Purple Sharks earned a come from behind win to beat Soltilo Bright Stars 4-2.

WAkiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta is aware of the threat the hosts pose but believes his boys have the character and ability to do the job against any team.

“We have to defend better than how we did against Bright Stars,” Wakiso Giants head coach Alex Gitta said.

“I have trust in the available squad to do the job and we are optimistic of a good result despite playing away from home and at a venue usually hostile,” he added.

George Kaddu remains out as sits out the 7th of his 10-match ban, Samson Kiirya hurt his shoulder and is definitely out.

Titus Ssematimba continues with University Examinations and is granted study leave by the club while Rahmat Ssenfuka suffered a knock in the thigh and didn’t make the trip to Arua.

Meanwhile, skipper Hassan Ssenyonjo who has missed the last four games through injury. Amos Muwonge is also back after failing to make the squad for the past couple of games.

This will be the fifth league meetings between the two sides, the past four have ended in two wins for Wakiso Giants, one defeat and one draw.

Last season’s corresponding fixture ended in a 1-1 draw.
