URA FC  will host all the 2021/22 season home games at the Arena of Visions in Bombo, the club have confirmed.

This will be the second full season at Ndejje University Stadium since URA started hosting home games in Bombo, Luweero in the second round of the 2019/20 season.

Since 2020 when URA first hosted a game at the Arena of Visions, Ndejje University after leaving the busy Mandela National stadium, the Tax Collectors have gone on to turn the Arena of Visions into a fortress.

URA’s first game in Bombo was against Villa on 7th, January 2020, and the Tax Collectors have since lost only twice there; 2-1 to Police on 6th, March 2020 and the second a narrow 1-0 loss only coming in February 2021 against Express.

In the first season at Bombo, URA in the last five games won four (2-0 vs SC Villa, 1-0 vs Bright Stars, 2-1 vs KCCA FC and 3-1 Vipers SC) as well as losing only one against (1-2 vs Police)

At the Arena of Visions last season, URA managed to avoid defeat 12 of the 13 times they played at home, winning 10, drawing 2 and losing the other to Express 1-0.

The league resumes this month, as the Tax Collectors will still target the title and URA’s first home game will be on Friday, 29th October 2021 against UPDF, before later on hosting BUL FC in Bombo on Saturday, 20th November.
