Arua Hill SC and SC Villa will square off on Tuesday in a match-day two fixture that was rearranged as Villa targets victory following a poor form.

The game was slated to be played on Friday, October 22 but the Jogoos were yet to be licenced hence the postponement.

Kongolo come into the contest off a reasonably decent run of form.

Livingstone Mbabazi’s side have not lost in any of their past three games. The draw came in their most recent fixture away to Bright Stars FC, last week.

The recent results have seen them climb into 7th and victory against the Jogoos will take them to 5th spot.

Despite the unbeaten run, Kongolo are set to be without a host of first-team players who are either struggling with fitness concerns or personal issues.

Arua Hill have proved to be hard to beat at home as they have picked 10 of their 14 points in Arua.

The only two occasions they have failed to collect maximum points at the Barifa stadium came in the goalless draw with rivals Onduparaka FC and the 1-0 loss to leaders SC.

Against Villa, they take on a side that is currently struggling and deprived of inspiration.

“We know that Arua Hill are a very strong team. They proved it since their very first game in UPL against Express. We know their strengths and their weaknesses.”

“We will try to prepare both mentally and tactically for the game. Unfortunately we don’t have much time to prepare properly.”

“Lately we had too many games in short period of time and the players are very tired as we have only 18 available and it’s the same players who played the majority of the matches,” SC Villa head coach Petros Koukouras said.

This will be the first competitive meeting between the two sides in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.
